Hanna Rönnberg

Hanna Rönnberg was an artist and writer of Finland-Swedish origin and was educated in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Paris. She contributed to the literature of the Modern Breakthrough with works about Åland.

She wrote Från Ålands skär, 1899, Brovaktens historier, 1904, which was awarded the national literature prize, and two volumes entitled Konstnärsliv, 1931 and 1938, in which she describes the well-known artists’ colony on Åland, to which she herself belonged.
