Anna Fickesdotter Bylow became abbess of Vadstena Convent in 1512.

According to Sven Lagerbring in Swea Rikes Historia, Stockholm 1773, Anna Fickesdotter Bylow wrote a posthumously published record of her generation that was typical of her period.
