Hedvig Strömfelt was the daughter of the President of the High Court Otto Strömfelt. In 1743 four Strömfelt sisters were accepted into the Moravian Church, among them Hedvig and Dorothea, who both wrote spiritual songs, and Ulrika, from whom there also survives a hand-written account about the Moravian Church community in her time.
Hedvig Strömfelt wrote songs 46, 59, and 63 in Sions Sånger, 1743, and possibly also numbers 72, 78, 85, 86, 105, and 108 in Sions Nya Sånger of 1748.
