Ingeborg Signe Nanna Erixson was born in Stockholm. After eight years at a girls’ school, she chose to become a telegraphist like her parents. In 1928 she married the artist Sven Erixson.
Her debut collection Tjällossning, 1945, and subsequent works consisted of sensuous poetry which often hints at a secret sign language. Although her underlying tone is dark in her works such as in Främling i eget landskap, 1951, she comes across as an idyllist in a selection of 1962.
