Camilla Deleuran was born in Frederiksberg, where she grew up. She studied medicine and attended the Forfatterskolen (writers’ school) in 1989-91. Her debut work was published in 1994, the poetry collection Glashud, which exposes the many conflicts and facets of love in an aggressive and sarcastic tone, accentuating the nakedness and fragility of which the poems speak. She published Vintersøvnens rige (P) in 1996.
