Anne Sophie Brandt

Anne Sophie Brandt was born in Korsør, died after 1855, was the daughter of a clergyman, taught French, and translated. In 1824-1825, she herself published the translation of Germaine de Stäel’s Corinne and later also the anthology Poetisk og prosaisk Lommebog, 1835, containing her own short stories and poems by other writers as well as the short story collection Fortællinger in 1836.
