Roné, Marina Cecilie

Written by:  Katja Pedersen

Marina Cecilie Roné was born in Copenhagen. She studied literature in Paris, has been a literary critic for the daily newspaper Information, and later for the newspaper Jyllands-Posten. Her debut in 1990 with the short story collection Ud af et skød aroused a good deal of attention. In 1993, she published the prose monologue Skrifte til min elskede, in which the female first person excoriates human relationships in a sharp-edged, sarcastic narrative.
