Lillie, Metta

Written by:  Christina Sjöblad

Metta Lillie was the eldest daughter of a colonel and was born and grew up in Västergötland. She wrote a diary from 1737 to 1750 when she married a widower, Johan Gustaf Natt och Dag, who had six adolescent children. When she became a widow in 1760, she continued to live on her husband's estate until her death in 1788.
